   Wow- I have to admit I was skeptical about these. I’ve had poor luck with similar products in the past. Either they don’t actually groom your dog, or they’re so cheaply made that they fall apart after one or two washings.

   I can happily say that neither is the case with this grooming glove. It’s really well designed and sturdy with a nice breathable material that would likely make it comfortable to wear for a long period of time. However, my experience is that you won’t wear this for a long period of time (unless you’re grooming a herd of sheep or something equally ridiculous) because it is so darn good at what it does!

   I should say first that my dog hates brushes and combs. She’s normally very calm and obedient… but the minute I break out the brush, she heads for the hills. And I hate using brushes anyway because you end up with that oily dog coat residue all over your hand and have to stop and clean the brush every pass or two through their coat. Yuck. not fun especially when your dog is squirming around trying to escape. As a result, I didn’t groom my dog often enough, and my house was awash in shed fur.

   This glove, however, changed all that. My dog LOVES it, because it’s basically just like I’m petting her. I love it because it really takes the fur off her, and actually seems to clean itself as I go along- the fur just comes right off and blows away (bonus for birds who use it for their nests later I suppose). Finally, my Roomba is happier too because she’s not choking on pet fur and dander any longer.

   Anyway, I highly recommend this- it’s a very cool product and has seriously changed how I’m going to groom my dog from here on out. Bravo, Pet Thunder!

   I have a Bernese Mountain dog and dealing with hair is a daily occurrence. I have been using the metal hair grooming brushes which work but my dog is very timid about different things petting him and coming into contact with him. This creates a huge problem because he is always running away from the metal grooming comb. The grooming glove allows me to remove excess pet hair while actually petting him, this is where the grooming glove really shines. I no longer need to chase my dog around and he actually enjoys the feel!

   This glove is actually one of the very good ones that I have used in for my cats’ grooming. Having three cats, two short hair and one long hair, grooming becomes an issue. They need to be groomed regularly especially during summer. We are using a variety of methods, we have another glove, three brushes and one of those super expensive furminators. Among all these methods, our long hair loves the glove best but the problem with the glove was that the one that we previously have . was not really cleaning too much hair.

   This Pet Thunder glove is actually very effective on that front. I have immediately tried it on my long hair (you can see in the pics) and he seems to enjoy it. They always enjoy grooming but the question is: does this glove do what it supposed to do which is to collect as much loose hair as possible? I am very happy to say that it does. I have put some disgusting hair pictures here , so it is obvious that it collects hair and once it does it is easy to remove the hair from the comb.

   I got this glove at a discounted price for my honest examination and review. that is said, I never overrate an item because I receive at a discounted price. This glove does effectively collect cat’s hair and my cat seems to enjoy the feeling of the glove on his body. Having used many gloves, I can confidently say this Pet Thunder grooming glove is one of the best gloves that I have.
