   My elderly cat has been suffering anxiety since we got a new cat. She was meowing whenever I wasn’t in the room with her. At night, I put her in the wrap, pet her, and place her in her basket. The last few nights, my husband and I have been able to get a full night sleep because she is now much calmer and not meowing constantly.

   Note: I placed this on the younger cat to see if he would tolerate it and he collapsed to the ground and would not move. So I would say this might not work for every cat.

   I was skeptical about this product at first, and having read the review made me feel uneasy. First let me tell you I have a 4 lbs female Yorkie , that has a fear of life. She had made a trainer quit, but I love her , and all her insecurities. This calmig coat is made 100% of quality to satisfactorily. You wil not be disappointed, I am the first to point out any thing I dont like. You could say that I am a picky ass about things. I love this calming coat , its well made and does the job. I can see the difference in Zarah, my yorkie right away. So don’t be afraid to purchase this for your pet, it works great. I loved this product so much that I purchased a second one in black. I will post pictures of zarah if I can figure ot out.

   This is advertised as a cat jacket, but when I opened the package, it clearly states on the label that it is for a medium dog. Cats have a different body type – wider chest area and longer legs, so it did not fit – the cat could not jump up or move around freely. I must say that this is well made though. I like the velcro adjustable straps, but the velcro strap aroud the neck area was too long – part of it was exposed to itch the animal’s body. Perhaps another flap would fix that problem. Can you make one that fits a cat?
