   It’s a good item for the price, but unfortunately, the areas are quite small for our cat (he is a big cat, 13 lbs). He barely can go inside the box, and his legs hang down from the round “bed”. However he loves to lie on it, and enjoys the view from the top 🙂 But probably I will buy a bigger cat tree for him.

   My kitties seem to like it and I do too with only a couple mild complaints: 1) The fabric can come loose with rough usage and already has in a small place in the tube, and 2) like almost all other reviewers have said for similar items, my kitties also don’t use the hammock. I’m also a little worried about one corner of the second level (that the “house” sits on) which doesn’t have any support underneath, but so far so good.

   Overall I’m mostly satisfied and think this is a pretty good deal, but it’s definitely not for larger cats. Fortunately mine are on the smaller side.

   good price but if u have a big cat, you’ll probably want to get something bigger. the cylinder and round platform at the top are much smallet than i thought they would be.

   let me start by saying, that i received this cat tree 3 days after i ordered it! WOW! that was a wonderful surprise that it arrived so fast. the box it arrived in was just the right size for all the parts to be packaged securely. as soon as i had the parts all set out and separated my 5 month old kitten had already found the toys that can be attached to the platforms and was running around playing with them! putting the tree together was very easy and only took me 10-15 minutes tops. my 2 year old cat was very excited about the tree. as i was putting it together she was scratching and jumping all over it! i read some reviews before i purchased this tree and saw that some people had said the tree wasn’t very sturdy. i think it is EXTREMELY sturdy. my 2 yr old cat weighs right at 10 lbs and my 5 month old only weighs about 6 lbs BUT climbs and jumps all over it and it doesn’t even shake. after i got the tree together and attached the toys, my 5 month old kitten played with the dangly ball for an hour straight! she climbed up the side posts & jumped all over playing with that ball! when she was done she curled up in the little house and took a nap. my other cat loves to play with the toys as well & enjoys scratching the posts. overall this is a fantastic product that my cats loved right out of the box,literally! its a must have, and i am thrilled with my purchase!

   Just like all the Armarkat trees we’ve bought, this was easy to assemble with tools included. The faux fur is tougher than it looks and easily cleaned with any small brush. Needless to say, the cats love it.

   Be aware that this stable piece of cat furniture is somewhat long…about 40 inches when looking for a location. (You can always turn the flabellate perch around if need be.) We banked it against a wall but it’s quite stable to be freestanding. What you can’t see in the picture is that it’s got a thick rope hanging from the top perch thru a circular hole

   in the highest shelf. Be ready for cat swashbuckling.

   The kittys give a big five paws-up =^..^=

   I’ve been going back and forth for months as to whether to buy a cat tree for my two cats. I have a relatively small apartment and I try to keep it looking decent, and cat furniture is just ugly. I finally gave in and I’m glad I did. As cat trees go, this one is unobtrusive for its size. I think this is due to the design, which has more flat platforms than bulky cubbies. Also, because the carpet is more like fleece and less like the kind of carpet that is normally used on cat furniture, it has a more delicate look to it.

   Then again, I may just be deluding myself because I am so happy with this item.

   First off, it is very easy to put together. Took me about 20 minutes. The pieces are marked clearly and the directions are easy to follow.

   Second, it’s sturdy. I live in an old (pre-earthquake) apartment in San Francisco, and the floors are uneven. I expected that I would have to put a shim under the foot of the tree in order to keep it steady. As it turns out, it’s fine. The cats have been jumping on and off it since I put it up, and there isn’t a hint of instability.

   Third, it’s fun. They play on and around it, sleep on it, use it as a perch to look out the window, and stage recreations of famous historic Cat Battles on it.

   Finally, it’s cheap. The nearest similar item in my local pet supply store cost more than twice as much.

   I’m glad I bought it.
