   My Mother is a Professional Dog Groomer. She graduates from Dog Grooming School in 2001. I gave her these for she can test out on your job. She loves this kit. She loves the fact that these scissors cuts great and she loves the fact they’re Stainless Steel. The scissors come extremely sharp and high quality. This kit is a must have for a Dog Groomer.

   Overall these are a very nice set of scissors for your pet. As shown in the video, you get a comb, and three pairs of scissors. The first scissor is a straight scissor that I have been using for the bulk of my cutting. You also get a curved pair, which took me a little to get used to. It works great for going around curved areas such as around the ear. The third pair reminds of those types of scissors that will add a little body to your cut. I think it is supposed to be used for tangles, but there was not any instructions included, and I have yet to figure out how to use them as such. Regardless, the two other scissors are wonderful.

   They are sharp and cut easily. they do have a screw that will easily unscrew to separate the scissors for cleaning, or sharpening if you have the means to do so. The grip is comfortable, but I’m not sure if they can be used by a left handed person.

   The inside rings of the holes where your fingers go in the scissors do come out. One fell out when I was cutting, but I was able to snap it back in and it has not come out since. However, the holes for the fingers are quite small, and while my hands fit perfect, I’m not sure that hands any larger than mine would fit. I generally wear a size medium in gloves. I took a star off because these are not a one size fits all.

   When I first opened these, I had a split second thought that these are a tad too fancy for dogs, but then decided that my dog is just not spoiled enough.

   These are so dull they just fold the hair instead of cutting it
