My cats love this. A lot of the other huge cat scratchers I looked at were exceptionally busy, but my cats and I like this because the platforms have space for cats to sit and roll around.
The directions leave a little something to be desired, but they got the idea across. Even though I managed to get it together without too much trouble, that’s where it became a four-star instead of five-star experience.
One of the levels has a mouse hanging from an elastic string. The string is the perfect length that a cat on the level above it can pull the mouse up to itself, but not rest it on the platform, which kept my cats busy constantly trying to put it in front of them. Unfortunately, it worked a little too well and my cats had removed it within 12 hours of introducing the structure to the house. I can’t really fault the manufacturer, you can only attach a tiny plastic item to a tiny elastic thread with so much force.

Very well built and the Kitties love it. We have 3 cats that all use the condo. They take turns (sometimes) using the top 2 levels, and we supply them with cat nip on each level for them to roll around in. The rope posts get a lot of use from them.

This review is from: Majestic Pet Products 52 inch Beige Casita Cat Furniture Condo House Scratcher Multi Level Pet Activity Tree (Misc.)
We’ve had the toy for about 3 months now, and we really liked the it and our cat was just starting to get used to it,he enjoyed climbing to the top and chasing his tail up there. But last night we woke up to a large crash only to find the top of the toy ripped off breaking the plastic “mount” inside the cardboard tube. Despite what a lot of reviews have said the toy is not very stable, it’s tipped over a few times and it wobbles whenever he’s on it, even though we placed it in the corner of the living room. While we do have a large, strong cat (~15 pounds) who is rough on toys, I’d expect this to hold up a lot longer than it did. It shouldn’t be too tough to replace the upper pole but it’s just frustrating that we need to. If you have a small cat I can’t imagine this to be a problem, but just a word of caution to those with abnormally large feline.
