   Let me start off with my cat absolutely loves the deluxe version of this toy. She goes crazy for it, and the four speeds are nice.

   Now for the bad part. There is no timer, it does not automatically shut off. The battery usage is crazy. There is no plug in option. Its not durable (My cat catches the mechanism, so now everytime there is a grinding noise when it starts to spin).

   As much as my cat loves this toy, it is not durable and I would not buy it again. It has a life expectency of about a week. This one is ready for the trash. I would not recommend this product.

   When I purchased the cat meow the reviews stated that the only issue was batteries. I find that to be a minor issue as you can always get rechargeable batteries. The speed allows the cat to catch the “mouse” and stop the movement. After about two week the motor was dead and the toy became usless. This was a total waste of money I wish I could return it as defected. I would NOT recommend.

   My cat absolutely loves this toy. It is so well designed. Varying speeds. I think it automatically shuts off after a few minutes of non use. Looks like a mouse tail. She loves going under the yellow cover. She can’t resist it when I turn it on.
