Shorter than I expected, and platforms are better made for smaller cats. I have 2 large cats, one being a maine coon mix. Its used more for a stepping stone to a different post.
For large cats, I have this one, and highly recommend it: http://www.amazon.com/Go-Pet-Club-106-Inch-Beige/dp/B001MAJFTE
The top platforms are large so cats can relax and sleep. You can even make your own personal adjustments to the posts

successfully put together!, February 11, 2015

ASIDE from trying to put this together using ONLY the tiny picture without any written directions, the now-done cat condo works well.
They did NOT provide DIFFERENT sized screws as the list indicated====they were all the same size. My cats all weigh near 20 pounds or more, but they still can fit on the top rounded perch (cause the “back” on it helps keep them in it)…they do not go into either little house—prob cause they are big cats. I bet kittens would have a ball playing in this!!
So far, it has not tipped over. I worried that it would fall over if they tried jumping off it, since it feels a little shaky (in the way put together)….all was tightened as far as possible. It looks pretty–color goes well with the room. I like it for the price I paid. I saved around $30 by applying for the Amazon card, so I did not have to pay full price. Shipping was free on this and arrived timely on my front porch.

Cut the strings off, or your cat may hang himself, August 24, 2015

STRING WARNING! I need to get this to the manufacturers, sellers and owners of this product. My 14-week old kittens have played on this for about a week. Tonight, out of nowhere my little kitten, Lionheart, let out this terrifying scream that had me shaken for awhile after. His tail somehow got caught on the string with the dangling ball. I tried to reach down to get it untangled, but he was screaming and so scared and hurt that he wouldn’t let me grab it, thinking I’d hurt him more, and he was still screaming! It was awful and freaked me out. Luckily I had a knife on the table from dinner and was able to quickly cut the string, which luckily loosened and he was able to get away. He is still shaken up by it. I’ve never seen him like that and he is being cautious around any still object on the ground now. I am hoping it doesn’t make him aggressive. I am just SO glad I was home, because he would have been stuck on that thing, crying, for who knows how long if we were out of the house. I’m also glad it was not around his neck. I want to warn everyone about this product, so they don’t have a similar issue with the dangling ball and mouse. I cut them both off so they won’t hang themselves. Please be careful with this product and get rid of the strings. I would hate for someone to have to come home to see their cat hanging.

Unexpectedly Loved This Book – Quirky, intriguing with a bit of literary mixed in, November 12, 2010

I was looking for Jessica’s other books when I found this title in the Kindle Store. I tried the sample and within 2 pages I knew this would be a great read. Events immediately take a turn into the unexpected in the first chapter, and I loved seeing the world through the eyes of the protagonist. She asks herself alot of questions as she moves ahead to a new life and new experiences (I guess I can relate to that).

The story isn’t written strictly for commercial appeal. In fact this story has more of a literary style than the last 5-8 books I’ve read. I think the difference is those authors intended to write the next great book that sells (some were really entertaining, but didn’t delight me or have intellectual appeal). Seeing Jessica’s list of previous publications on her site, it makes sense that she’s a writer with a story to unfold (not necessarily to craft for sales).

I chose not to reveal what happens in the story to allow it to magically unfold its surprises. I find it interesting that the early reviewers are all from Massachusetts (?!) for some reason. Well, I’m from Montana…but oops!… I grew up in Massachusetts. Makes me wonder what that connection’s about, but I think that readers from other places will enjoy this book, too. A whole-hearted five stars.

I loved this!!! This is the first book in a long time that makes me want to read with a pen. I loved the characters and the wonderful descriptive language. I could not put this book down and have read it twice already!
