   I was happy to test the Pet Hair Grooming Scissors by Pet Magasin for an honest review. I received the grooming scissors and promptly visited my neighbor who has two darling little terriers. She was gracious enough to allow me to test the scissors on her babies. I found the scissors to be easy to work with and designed to trim the dog’s fur with no problems. I am no expert, but for a beginner, I feel that the product achieved what it was supposed to. I like the handles on the scissors as they are made to work well with and not cramp your hands, with an easy to grip rubber coating. The blades are sharp, but rounded on the end, so you don’t have to fear poking the little darlings. Or yourself. Getting two sizes addresses the different sections of the body to be trimmed. The smaller pair worked well around the paws and face. The larger size worked well with the rest of the pet’s body. All in all, I concluded that these were totally workable and left my neighbor’s house with her satisfaction and my thrill of being able to groom a pet for the first time. I decided to next test them out on my dear husband. He was a bit skeptical, but game for the experiment. These scissors worked just as well on a human’s head of hair. So in my opinion, these are definitely all purpose in use. Dealing with the company that sells these scissors, I found them to be totally customer friendly. The pricing is competitive and well worth the buy. I highly recommend to owners of pets that do their own grooming. Also, if you need to trim a bit of your own hair.

   These are mighty scissors. I was quite surprised to see that they stood up to a cocker spaniel’s hair cut. If you have never owned a cocker trust me when I say that is an amazing feat. Their hair is thick and dense like a sheep, but these scissors cut right through it. I love that the ends where rounded, it allowed me to work faster with out fear of jabbing the dog. I like that there are two sizes. The larger one was perfect for the straighter areas like his back and sides while the smaller ones were easier to maneuver while cutting around his paws and face. The handles are a nice size and I did not get hand fatigue or cramps although it takes an hour to trim his hair. I was delighted to receive this product for a fair and honest review.

   These are great grooming scissors. I haven’t been able to use them very many times because my little puppy won’t stay still! We are working on that though. I have gotten a few “snips” in when she was sleepy. Love the rounded safety tips. I don’t worry so much about hurting her.

   This item did not work properly. Every time I tried to brush it across my cat, it stopped working. The problem is that the rotating wheel is not recessed enough and cannot rotate when the outer rubber part is applied to the fur. Therefore I had to settle for a 50% refund as I was informed that it would be too expensive to return the item.

   I do not recommend this item.
