   My 11 year old cat was favoring his front legs pretty badly. He had stopped coming around us and stopped jumping up on things. After giving him two per day for a few days (one in morning and one in evening since he’s 18 lbs and the directions say 1 per 10 lbs/ day), he’s like a different cat. He’s more social and gets up in the bed again! He loves them. I do break them up in 5 or 6 pieces since they’re kind of big.

   My cats were given the chews as directed. They eagerly accepted and ate their daily dose, which is the good news. The bad news is that they usually vomited shortly thereafter, so I discontinued using the chews after a few days. A waste of the remaining chews.
   This product didn’t work out for myself with my cats, but it could be successful for cats able to digest the chews.

   I tried the consequences capsules but my cat just cannot take them. He is 15 and never really had wet food. When I started giving it to him on even a small amount of wet food he threw it up. He LOVES these and they really seem to be doing the trick. Poor guy could barely walk before these. A real kitty life saver. I do highly recommend if your cat cannot do the capsules.

   Yes, it is a pricey cat food. I have been using it instead of the prescription stuff from the vet. It is less expensive than the prescription and my cat is losing weight. I also appreciate that I do not have to go to the vet or order from a specialty web site.
