   My cat really likes these and they have allowed for me to put him on healthier, more natural wet food and take him off the UT-specific prescription wet foods without him getting UTIs (knock on wood). He’s incredibly [and annoyingly] picky when it comes to treats so I was very relieved that he gets excited when I get the bag out. They seem to have fewer preservatives and more natural ingredients than the other UT treats I’ve considered. One thing, my cat once struggled to get a whole piece down and there was a moment of panic before he was able to swallow comfortably so I always break the treat up into smaller pieces (which works well for us since we play a game of fetch with treats so the game lasts longer). By breaking the treat up, your cat can smell the fresher section inside, compelling to cats new to this treat. One word to those of you who are first encountering UTIs in your cats: a strictly wet food diet (of mostly meat and very little fish) will almost always solve the problem if your cat can stomach 100% wet. In my [non-doctor’s] experience, the prescription (low-phosphorous) brands are great for breaking up crystals but a 100% wet food diet (of any wet food, and if you’re broke, even crappy wet food) will often be curative and keep your cat healthy and out of the vet’s office.    The item was delivered promptly and apparently worked very effectively in stopping a budding bladder issue with my young male cat. Seemed to work quickly, too! Rusty seemed to really like the flavor and looked forward to his “treat” twice a day. I would get this again, if he starts showing signs of trouble again. The only thing I did not like was the packaging. Before we’d used up all the product the “zipper” on the bag ceased to function, and we had to put the little tidbit things in an empty pill bottle.
