   This is the coolest pet brush I have ever used! It is sturdy, and has the cleverest function ever! My service dog is a mixed breed of german shepard and malamute. His fur is thick and has a fine undercoat that sheds all year long. But twice a year spring and late fall into winter he sheds like crazy.
   Well with the “Sliker Brush” I honestly say that it removes even the undercoat with ease. The metal bristles get deep into his coat without hurting him at all. Then using the coolest part of the brush, you click a button on its handle ane the brushes bristles retract and all you have to do is remove the hair from the base of ithe brush. No bristles in the way, no trying to run a comb through it. Not neccasary! The hair is free and loose to just descard!
   Honestly, I really mean it, this is without a doubt the best pet brush I’ve ever used!! I know you’ll feel the same way!

   My service dog is a rescue. She looks somewhat like a sheltie, but has an undercoat that rivals our Great Pyrenees. I pay a neighbor girl to bathe her for me, but keeping her looking good in between baths has been a problem. I love the way her coat looks after using a slicker brush-but as anyone who has used a slicker brush knows, getting the hair out of one can take as long as the brushing itself. I have tried other ‘self cleaning’ brushes, & they all fell short for one reason or another. I see this one says ‘ergonomic’ handle-yeah right I thought! Part of my disability is difficulty holding things, & after a short time the spasms in my hands & arms start. Let me tell you, this brush is TRULY ergonomic!!! The handle is thicker (of course) but the rubber (?) on either side is kind of raised, not like nubs, but thin, almost fin like things. These, whatever they are called, give a feeling of the handle being cushioned. I was able to brush her, by myself, for twenty minutes, something we both enjoyed! While that may not sound like a lot, I have not been able to do that since I’ve had her, & CJ is four years old. Before this brush, my husband would brush her with a regular brush for me. He used this brush (he had never used a slicker brush before) & I asked him what he thought. He also found it comfortable to hold and use, but he absolutely loved the ease of removing the hair from the brush and the fact that it completely removes all of the hair. He was brushing our Pyr, so it, & my husband got quite a workout. So far, I have not had a single problem, and can find no negatives with this brush.
   I will update this if anything changes, as I have only had this brush a short time.
   I absolutely, very highly recommend it!!!

   My giant OES (Old English Sheepdog) had a bad case of undercoat hair matting from letting him go swimming this summer. I regularly brush him at least 4 hours a week so these mats were upsetting me as they were causing his coat to be unmanageable. Having to shave him would break my heart because I LOVE his long hair. However, I feel he may be indifferent. This Bark Outfitters Dematting Tool was my last chance of saving his coat before his scheduled grooming appointment. As someone who once said to the groomer, “Ah, NO…my OES NEVER has mats!!!”, I was sweating it out until this tool arrived in the mail. As promised, it did a great job and he is once again mat free and looking like the beautiful boy that he is. I couldn’t be happier. If this thing can take on a 105lb beast with 8 inch hair then it can work on any dog. I highly recommend.
