   This product works really well and was a great price. I used it on my long haired cat. I found it best to cut some of the hair with scissors first then use the shaver since her hair was so long and she had a ton of it. The shaver was quiet enough that it didn’t even scare her. She is not very pretty now but the product did it’s job and we will be a much happier family now that we don’t have to deal with so much shedding. I think she will feel better too. (she looks like a rabbit now lol)

   I have found some great deals from DBPower on things I needed, but this pet hair trimmer/shaver is probably one of the best deals. We have a small indoor dog & the weather has gotten hot & no AC. Getting his hair trimmed really helps him stay cool & causes less mess for us.Just add batteries pick the cutting length comb, snap it on & cut. Our dog has thick curly hair & this cut it perfect. The blade works as well as brands we have had that cost a lot more & this one is wireless making it easier to use on our squirming dog. We do not normally shave any of our cats but one was having a wound right as this arrived so we used this to cut the hair away for treating the area, the cat was a bit scared but it got the job done fast so all is good.

   It seems like there’s now an even stronger movement for ‘do it yourself’ projects, and technology is only furthering the trend. Like the way you can now buy a hair clipper and have somebody cut your hair at home, the same is possible for your dog and cat (and maybe some other animal I’m missing, for some reason capybara comes to mind).

   The thing that I really like about these new technologies is that, because you’re doing it yourself, and because you’re likely not a professional, the products are designed to be more user friendly and easier to use – this per hair trimmer is no exception.

   Something that I hadn’t thought of before receiving this product, but seems like a necessity now that I’ve used it, is the fact that it’s cordless, because it’s harder to tell a dog to sit still than a human (at least in my case). Being restricted to a wall outlet would have made this product very difficult to use.

   There’s not much to say besides that this product works well, and for the price, I would say it would be one of my top choices for pet hair trimmers

   Edit: Stopped working properly after a few uses. It works well in the short term, but if you want something with more quality you’ll have to spend a bit more.
