   Tried this tool for the first time today and in 5 minutes I had a giant pile of fur on the floor. Until now, we had been using a Furminator, and this is very similar, at a fraction of the price. Highly recommended!

   I am so impressed and so is my cat! I have a large Norwegian Forest cat mix and they have a TON of fur that gets matted, he needs to be brushed daily, sometimes twice. Luckily my cat LOVES being brushed by these types of deshedding tools. I already have a FURminator that is similar in style (deshedding with fur release button) but has a much smaller brush head. This brush gets off more fur than the FURminator!! I LOVE it, my cat LOVES it, and my husband also agrees that it is the better tool. This brush also comes with a cover which the FURminator does not have. This is very nice to have since I keep the brush in a catch-all kitchen drawer and was afraid of it getting damaged. I will definitely recommend this brush to the local cat shelter and plan on buying a few to donate. This small family owned company (Molly E Enterprises) has a great story behind it and also donates a portion of their sales to charity, how great is that! UPDATE! … As of May 25th still using this brush daily, the FURminator has been kicked to the curb. My cat won’t even let it touch his fur, lol. Thank you to the company for giving me the opportunity to review this product in exchange for a discount. Great product!

   I’ve had animals all my life and a constant issue with them is their fur. Anything that I can use to cut back on the hair around the house is something I want to try out. The animals like being brushed with this, and it removes a good amount of fur. It comes with a cover to protect the brush and blade, which i left on when I was getting them used to it.

   When I used this on my cat, I think I removed enough fur to make a new cat. I have a 9 pound cat, and this removed about a baseball size ball of hair in about 10 minutes.

   This is a great item to help keep the mess down, and is something I’ll recommend to all my friends with pets.
