   My cats LOVE these mice. One of them will sit by the fridge, look up and meow (we keep the box up there for mouse safety) when she can’t find any around the house. She loves to play fetch with these little guys. And with 60 in a pack, I can dole out a few to each cat so everyone gets one. I’m almost out of these and just ordered the rainbow rattling kind to try out.
   The half star deduction is for the mess when they rip them apart. Shredded cardboard gets everywhere! I spose it was cheaper than plastic, but it seems they pass on the savings, so….
   CAVEAT: THE BLACK ONES WILL STAIN ANYTHING BLUE IF THEY GET WET!! THE DYE BLEEDS. So be careful if you have a goofy cat like mine that likes to drop her toys in the water bowl and in the tub when you are in it. Blue dye + white carpet = DISASTER.
   Still love the mice though!!

   My cats love love love the size, shape, and easy flingitude of these mice, and it takes them a little while to destroy them. However, there is one reason to not give these things 5 stars…EVERY. SINGLE. LITTLE. MOUSIE (and there are 60) has a paper tag attached via plastic. I now have to go through and cut a stupid tag off every one of these lovely toys. Arrrrrrrrgh!

   MY CAT ATE A MOUSE AND…, January 8, 2010

   This appears to be a box of real fur covered mice just like the ones my cats LOVED. They are about the same size as real house mice, and the cats had great fun catching them and batting them around. Unfortunately, my young marmalade cat swallowed one. The fur digested nicely but the plastic core got stuck in his stomach. The good news is the core didn’t obstruct his intestines. The bad news is the emergency care, x-rays, unsuccessful attempt at induced vomiting and the abdominal surgery finally required cost $3,000. As much as the cats love these, we will never have them in our home again. If you buy them or have them, don’t let your cats play with them unsupervised and take regular mouse attendance.
