We have been a three cat (rescue) household for over 25 years with a perodic change in the major players. Over 10-12 years ago I agreed to adopt an abandoned Sealpoint female kitten (Chloe). The other 2 established adopted female Sealpoints (Sasha and Belle) had been in our home for a number of years and did not shed a hair over the new arrangement. Over a number of years we again became a single cat family consisting of the now grown 3rd Sealpoint female(Chloe). We did a rescue of brother and sister littermates (bluepoint and flamepoint Siamese) who were extremely young, so we isolated them for several weeks as we always did with a slow introduction to consolidate our family.
It had always worked before, but not this time.
This was 4 years ago and there has not been a moment of peace between Chloe and the newer cats. Chloe growls and fights with them if they came within the same room. They just ignored the hissy fits and tried to play with her throughout this entire period. Chloe had become so neurotic and withdrawn, she was isolating herself under the dining room table all the time. Kitty dinner was extremely difficult and Chloe began vomiting all her food, looking bedraggled, refused to use a clean litterbox, and even began hissing at me. My husband was wanting to put her down, but I simply could not give up on her.
Then a friend at work told me about Composure cat treats used in combination with Feliway diffusers to alter negative and stress behavior. BINGO!
We immediately purchased Composure at the Vet’s along with the the first Feliway diffuser. We started Composure treats for all three cats with a booster for Chloe that night. WOW!
Shipping cost made the purchase of further Composure prohibitive. However, I purchased another 3 Feliway diffusers through Amazon for what ONE cost at the Vets. Each diffuser covers approximately 600-650 ft. I placed the first in the laundry room where the cats have feed, water and litterboxes. Dinner time became quieter almost immediately. When the other 3 arrived from Amazon, I placed one in the family room, one in the Master bedroom and computer rooms where we all hang out.
The last two weeks have been a miracle! Had I believed this was possible I would have done this YEARS ago. Chloe is actually instigating human contact, purring, eating without vomiting, not missing the litterbox, and no more big hissy fits. I did not realize how much I missed her companionship. My Chloe is becoming my friend again.
Within a two weeks all three cats can be relaxed with a foot of each other and then nap in the same vicinity. They are not overly sedated, just calm.
I am so glad that we went the extra mile.
Thanks to Kristina who recommended tne Composure/Feliway combo!
PEACE AT LAST!

We have two cats who are twelve and six years old. We adopted a stray. We never had a problem with other cats getting adjusted into our home before now. Our new little female Bombay kitten is constantly attacking our older female. She does get along somewhat with our male, but the situation is quite stressful for all the cats and for us. We have to keep the kitten separated when they eat and at night. I have tried other things to calm them that did not work – but these chews do help. I give them all a chew before they meet in the morning. My older female has not liked anything other than her cat food before, but she actually gobbles these up. Put the bag in a secure place, or you will find it broken into! The bags are also approximate in number as they are bagged by weight. I thought I would have enough for ten days with three cats and 30 in a bag, but that is not always the case. I have reordered and hope they arrive soon as I am running low.

Vet-recommended for cat and dog anxiety. Has stopped the cats from peeing in unwanted locations and the dog from total hysteria during thunderstorms. TRY THIS!!!

We have two cats. Both are neutered males. The Fuzz is the oldest (about 6) and is a big (12 pounds) black-and-white long-hair. He has always been completely healthy and we feed him nothing but commercially-available dry cat food which we get at the grocery store. It’s cheap and convenient. Borris (about 5) has been entirely healthy, except when we feed him the same as with The Fuzz he develops little uric acid crystals. Evidently, they’re painful and he crouches around. Worse yet, he leaves small puddles of cat pee in various places around the house, and all you cat lovers know what that can smell like. Well one time he became incapacitated and we had to have him hospitalized for a couple days. The cost was about $700. The Vet prescribed Hill’s Prescription Diet C/D Multicare for Feline Bladder Health and this has solved the problem completely.
The prescription diet is much more expensive than regular cat food, about 4 to 5 times as expensive, but you don’t really use much of it. On a per-day basis, the difference is minor. I have to feed the cats separately and that’s a pain. The Fuzz will gobble his food down and then raid Boris’ dish, so I have to be there until Boris is finished and he’s a slow eater. Also, don’t attempt to “get by” on regular cat food. I ran out of the Prescription Diet once and fed Borris regular cat food for a couple days. His symptoms came back. Fortunately, I caught wind of it early enough and got him back on his Hill’s Diet. The symptoms went away almost immediately. The Vet explained that Boris isn’t getting enough water so the crystals form. Simple enough, but it’s hard to force a cat to drink more. Well, the prescription diet causes him to be more thirsty and drink more water. Hence no crystals. It seems to work fine. Make sure the cat(s) have ample water at all times, I might add. Product is great, this price is NOT. I just purchased some of this food from my vet because my 9-year-old tabby had her first UTI and I wanted to try to ease her suffering in any way possible. My vet charged me 20.99 for this same 4 pound bag, which I thought was expensive. That is, until I came here, this is twice the price plus shipping! I am going to check other sites but am probably going to end up buying this from the vet again when I need more. My cats love this dry food and the cans! They cannot get enough of it.
