   I love Yeowww catnip toys. They are just a tough fabric casing filled with high-test catnip.

   Why is this important? Toys filled with fibrous filler can be ripped open and ingested by your cat. Have already had two friends nearly lose their kitties because they ate the killer and it expanded inside them. Both cats required costly veterinary stays and one needed surgery.

   Since then, I’ve been buying Yeowww toys for my cats. They love them all, but certain ones get the best responses. To date, the banana and the cigar were the big favorites, but the fish has replaced them. It may be the fish shape that generates an inborn play response, but they carry this toy everywhere. Best of all, it’s safe fun.

   I originally purchased this product when Amazon had the product titled as “Yeowww Stinkies Catnip Toy, 12 pack”, for a little over eight dollars. I purchased it, thinking that, although the toys are only a couple of inches long, a pack of 12 for $8 is a good deal, given the quality of the Yeowww catnip toys. Unfortunately I only received one of the catnip toys. I emailed Amazon, who responded within 24 hours, was told that I would get a replacement the next day and was requested to ship back the one toy I had received. Amazon did overnight the replacement product, but when I opened the new package I again found only one catnip toy.

   Again I emailed Amazon to tell them about this second shipping error. They responded promptly and told me that since a third shipment would probably result in another error, they were giving me a refund and that I could keep the 2nd catnip toy that was sent. They also stated that they were putting this item on hold and would not ship another unit until they had cleared up the internal error. I signed up to receive an email to be notified when the product was available for purchase.

   I received notice a few days ago and eagerly clicked on the link that would take me to the Yeowww product page. Unfortunately I found that Amazon changed the product description to reflect that they were only selling one catnip toy and reduced the price to over five dollars. Although my cats really liked the little catnip toy I cannot justify spending over five dollars on a toy that measures 2″ x 1″.

   The product is fantastic, but the photo may lead you to believe you are getting more than one little toy. The smell, even though it is sardine, is not offensive at all. Yeowww! catnip toys are super number one!
