Hi I live on a wooded 2 1/2 acre lot with hundreds of trees and thousands of ticks and fleas.Early Spring is the worst for ticks..than come the fleas which have been horrible lately…My little mutt Buzzardbait about 10 lbs in the past has chewed himself raw and started out this year the same.I dont know what is in these pills that keeps bugs away (the ingrediants say mostly vitamins) but it works with no side effects. after the first few days I noticed a difference in his scrathing now its almost non existant…also have not found one tick…He has a flea collar but it was not working well. as far as getting a dog to eat pills (which Buzz hates) He loves these and even does tricks for them…I give him one pill a day…bigger dogs need to take up to three..I cant say how it works for large dogs but if you have a small dog thats sensative to frontline and sprays this might be your answer…It has realy amazed me and I have tried everything else from commercial stuff to apple cider vineger pills and garlic pills with limited success..thanks to Flea Away I now have one happy itch free little mutt…Big John…ps check out a pic of a happy dog at top of page in customer pics UPDATE 7-18-2012….We have had a terrible dry summer with millons of fleas.Buzzard bait was attacked by thousands of them…the flea away kept the ticks off have not seen but one passing thru…but was having trouble keeping the onslaught of fleas off ….I found this flea spray Ovitrol that works good with no bad effects on buzz…sprayed him once they cleared it up for several weeks than spayed him again heavly this time its been a month now and with still using the flea away fleas are under control…the flea away has also kept his coat from drying out..which caused him last year to itch till he had bald hot spots…none this year…I will keep using this combo…its not perfect but 90% beter than last year…here is the amazon link to Ovitrol http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EMWMJG/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00

I was unable to get the oral flea medication that I had been giving my dog for several years. I found the Flea Away after searching for a replacement. My dog loves it, and I am pleased with the results.

My 23 pound (very) mixed breed dog had a couple of seizures which scared both him and me. I had been using Frontline for fleas and ticks and a separate monthly heartworm chew. Thinking perhaps something in one of the two treatments caused the seizures, I first eliminated Frontline and tried Flea Away last summer. The result: no more seizures and no fleas — and fleas are a big problem where we live. My dog eats premium food, is in good health and has short hair which could add to the effectiveness of Flea Away. I begin giving it to him before flea season is in full swing and he gobbles up the tablet. It may not work for some, but I give it a solid endorsement.
