   One Line: ADORABLE only barely describes how cute this wig is

   Build: Polyester with Velcro chin strap. Build appears to be high quality and chin strap is covered in fur and therefore hidden.

   Functionality: Cuteness?! What else?! Okay, now that is out of the way, this is probably one of the best costumes I’ve purchased for my dog to date. Many do not fit his head well, but in this case, it was virtually perfect. Feel free to see the pictures below for a dose of cute. It fits well on my small dog (5 lbs.) as well as my slightly larger dog as well (12 lbs.). Sadly, my dog was a bit tired at this time, but I think the pictures still do this item justice.

   Nutshell: There absolutely is no reason to not purchase this, especially if it matches your animals colors as well as mine.

   This costume is an endless source of entertainment! The lion mane costume has a velcro strap that secures the head piece under the chin. The mane is very full and fluffy, but one of the ears on my costume is droopy – oh, well! Just makes the whole thing that much cuter! My cat was the unwilling participant of a photo shoot – she required some extra encouragement to pose for the shoot! The mane kept falling down over her eyes, but that was mostly because she kept trying to escape. I wish she could stay still and pose, yawning, like the black and white cat in the photos from another reviewer! Either way, the shoot was very entertaining – for us – and we got a few cute pics before giving her a break. I’ll probably try another photo shoot at some point in the future, long after she has forgotten about the lion mane! =)

   I did try to fit the lion mane costume on my 23 lb dog, but the velcro straps were too short to connect under the chin. Oh, well! It’s probably better suited for a cat or a smaller dog. The dog’s longer muzzle may help the lion mane costume stay in place a little better, instead of slipping forward over a cat’s short muzzle.

   Overall, I am very happy that I purchased this cat costume, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends – so hilarious, cute, and entertaining!

   Why you may ask? Why not I will say. Sure, there’s no real reason I need to put a wig on my cat but it was hilarious and the only thing hurt on my kitty was maybe her pride. She didn’t seem to mind wearing a wig. My kids were cracking up and we were trying to think how to make personal greeting cards with the photo of our cat on it.

   The wig is actually pretty well made and very cute. It fit my cats head fine, she’s a bit on the skinny side. This would definitely fit a small dogs like a Pom and such. Everything seems stitched and held together very well. The quality is definitely nice. I used to buy costumes for my dog and they weren’t cheap to my surprise, usually above $15 so I used to wait until they went on clearance. This isn’t a bad price considering it’s delivered to your front door step. Loads of fun just for the heck of it. I did get a discount for my honest and unbiased review.
