   Item is cheap plastic that should be worth 50 cents at a garage sale. One half is the comb, the other part is razer. It is very flimsy. It did break in the middle where I was holding it during my first use but the razer part itself continued to work really well. A lot of people complain they can’t get a razer like this to work. It’s because they need to do a 90 degree angle instead of a 45 degree angle! Once you have the technique down you will be manually cutting as much as you want off with no resistance from your dog!

   Durable “Hair Shapers” are better– spend your money on those.

   extremely chintzy, cheap product. the plastic is very thin and poor quality; the lock ‘buttons’ to be able to replace the blades do not move at all, and if i place greater pressure on them in an attempt to get the buttons to move, the plastic body of the comb will break. this product is a cheap piece of junk — DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$ OR TIME

   I have a DLH cat and need to shave a little area around his butt just to keep things sanitary. This doesn’t take any fur at all. Also tried with my DSH – just to see, also did not work.
