   These seem high quality – well made, heavy metal and sharp. The case they come in is good quality and holds everything securely. I’ve started grooming my mini schnauzer and this scissor set was a good investment. Only thing I found difficult with these is that the straight and curved scissors are rather long, for me this makes precision work hard, but its probably just my inexperience.

   My friend was kind enough to care for an elderly cat his sister abandoned. Turns out his otherwise skidish cat loves being groomed with these scissors! She had some horrible knots that seemed to appear overnight. She doesn’t do well with others, so the groomers was pretty much out of the question. I am proud to say all of her horrible matts are gone thanks to these strong yet gentle scissors! She actually purrs and rubs on the case and comb when the set it out. I love cats and I gave this as a gift to my best friend who isn’t much of a cat guy. We originally thought I would just do the grooming myself when I visit, but the set works so well he actually has fun using it and seeing her enjoy the grooming experience!

   Do yourself a favor and get this set: save some money on grooming and bond with your pet!

   The set itself is beautiful and looks so professional. I am definitely going to order another set for myself!

   This grooming set comes with two 7″ trimming scissors and one 6″ thinning scissors. All three are sharp and cut smoothly. They are especially effective on long-haired dogs or cats whose fur tends to mat. The curved scissors are especially helpful around the ears and neck where mats tend to form. These are also very effective for cutting thick mats off before using shears. These are stainless-steel scissors. All three come in their own thin plastic case.
