My youngest cat loves this toy! As soon as I took it out of the box he wanted to know what it was. I set it down and he immediately started playing with it. The mouse inside moves very easily. Doesn’t require any batteries, just a bat of the paw and the mouse goes spinning! I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

This is a non battery operated toy that my cats really enjoyed playing with. What my cats love about this toy is the mouse inside the ring when the cats paw the mouse it smoothly moves around in the ring as the cats try to catch the mouse, 2 of my cats played with this toy together and it was very fun watching them have such fun time however it didn’t take long before the mouse was lose and pulled out of the ring and i was glad that i was there when this happened because my cats would have try to eat this mouse, as silly as they are. It looks to me as the mouse was glued to the stick inside the plastic ring by hot melt glue so after it falling out i used Gorilla super glue to glue it back into place and it seems to be staying in place nice and securely now.

This Cat Mice Toy For Kittens from Gizmo Pet Products is a fun little toy for anyone that has high energy kittens or cats. We took in a stray cat not knowing she was pregnant. About a month later…surprise, she had 6 kittens in the middle of the night. We found good homes for 4 of them and kept 2. They are now about 4 months old, and are crazy! Lol! With a big black lab, and 3 cats I am always looking for ways to help them get their energy out. This toy has a green plastic casing with big holes on the side for the kitties to put their paws in. Inside the toy there is a felt stuffed mouse that is glued onto a plastic piece that spins around the inside when the cats bat at it. I was so excited to see how they reacted to it. I got it out and put it on the floor next to them and showed them how the mouse spun around. My female kitty pounced on it right away and went crazy! We all got some good laughs, until her claw caught on it about 30 seconds in, and she tore the mouse straight off and drug it off. I was so disappointed! I ended up going to the store, bought some super glue, and glued it back on, and so far it has held up to several long sessions of play. It is pretty amusing to watch them playing with it. Sometimes they go crazy chasing the mouse around, sometimes they pass it back and forth, sometimes they lazily just lay there and hit it every once and awhile, sometimes they drag it across the floor, and sometimes they just try to chew the mouse off. I honestly don’t know how long it will hold up as they do get their claws stuck in it quite often, but it has been fun watching them with it. I think maybe this kind of toy might be better suited to kitties that don’t have claws, but since I won’t get them declawed we will just have to enjoy them playing with it while we can. I made a video of them with it. They were actually in a lazy mood when I took it, so they weren’t in their “crazy mode”, but it was still cute. *I received this cat toy at a reduced price for testing and for an honest review. The opinions in this review are 100% my own based on my experience with the product, and I make no commitment to leave a positive review.*
