   To my cat, this is his baby. He loves this thing! So much so that when the one stopped chirping, I had to buy him another as he howled over it. I’ve now had to order four more to have on hand in case his newest one stops chirping. He loves that he can carry it around by its legs (which are made of felt) and is just the right size for kicking play to make it chirp.

   The SmartyKat Chickadee Chirp Electronic Bird Sound Toy is the most marvelous, inexpensive yet interactive cat toy! My 10-year-old cat starts acting like a kitten with this one.

   The secret is a small pull tab at the bottom of the toy which you remove when the toy is new. Removing the pull tab activates a touch-activated electronic “chirp.” When your cat bats the bird-shaped felt toy, the act of touching it causes it to “chirp” for a couple of seconds. This is followed by silence. My cat goes bonkers for this one.

   Plus you can fill it with catnip! It has a tiny catnip pouch. I have even rolled the whole toy in catnip.

   The toy is eco-friendly. It is made of 100% postconsumer recycled materials.

   It certainly exercises my cat’s predatory instincts, plus it makes me laugh watching her play!

   Definitely add this one to your cat’s toy box.

   My parents bought one of these for my cat, Scooter. He loved it so much I bought two more. He drags these crickets around the house and SLEEPS with them. Just a nudge makes them go chirp-chirp-chirp. It’s one of his favorite toys.
