   I have 2 dogs and one really needs brushing every day. He is 1/2 Border Collie 1/2 Australian Shepherd. He mostly gets knots on his tail and his hind legs. I was a bit worried at 1st because the bristles are so small, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works.
   I use this brush on him and he loves it. I start out with just a small section at a time, then work my way from his head to his tail. After I do that, I am able to go through from head to tail in one stroke. It gets so much hair out that after 2 strokes, I have to clean the brush. I can tell he likes the feeling of the brush because he kicks his leg lol.
   My other dog is ¾ Bloodhound ¼ Lab, so this also works on her, but her hair does not knot like my other dog.
   A few bristles did bend, but not worse than any others I have used in the past.

   Our feline had been having issues with knots for weeks an we weren’t to sure why. We would brush her often, but the old brush just didn’t seem to pull out any of the undercoat this causing so many knots. The Yichong Slicker is amazing!!! After one brushing we removed so much unwanted hair I was beyond impressed. Our cat loves to be brushed and now her coat is softer than ever. Amazing brush, highly recommend it for cats.

   * I’m unsure how it would hold up on a dog or a cat with much longer hair as the wire does bend a little.
   Our cat has short to medium length fur.

   I love this brush but was disappointed when the handle snapped off while brushing a dog. I will order again and wrap the handle with tape to help strengthen it. If it breaks again I won’t buy anymore.
