   We have a shizu , her hair knots up awful . We have tried all kinds of brushes , most pull so hard she hates it and some get stuck in the matts . This is the best we have ever used . Glides through . You cannot go wrong

   I have a long-haired cat who won’t let me brush her belly or legs, as a result, they were completely matted to the point where she didn’t even want me to pick her up because they pulled at her skin so badly. I’ve gotten her shaved in the past, and while she looks adorable, and doesn’t mind the end result, the process is too stressful for her. So I purchased this comb, and in combination with some very very careful scissor work (always putting my fingers between the matt and her skin) and liberally applied cornstarch, I was able to completely remove every matt, knot and tangled bit of fur on her entire body. It took 4 days working a little bit at a time, but this comb really did the trick and cut through the worst of them. I always held on to the base of the knot near her skin so it wouldn’t pull, and she never once yelped. I’ve recommended this at my veterinarian’s office since they were so surprised that her normally knotty fur was so smooth.

   This arrived today and I immediately put it to use on my long-haired cat. He hassuper long hair and is always shedding and
   always getting matted mess on his belly no matter how much I comb him. This comb glides thru his hair even the mats. Its
   got a double side so it goes thru thick and thin hair easily. It removed a lot of undercoat that I’ve tried to get off with other
   brushed similar to this one but this one is so much better bc it got the hair the other ones missed due to the thickness of
   his coat. This comb was able to pull that hair out without hurting my cat and it did a great job removing the excess fur and
   the mats by his inner back legs. This tool makes combing him so much easier. My cat no longer runs away. I’ve brushed him
   twice since I got it today. I felt like I had to stop because I don’t want him bald lol.
