Beyond my expectations!,
The item arrived on time as requested and Nicely packaged …very easy to open ..no teeth, blow-torch or chainsaw required which is always nice. Each of the three different sized combs have a sturdy cover that slides on and off to protect the combs. This Deshedding Tool is appropriate for both dogs and cats. I am proud to say I am a pug mommy and slightly embarrassed to say I have only used traditional brushes in the past. Pugs shed 365 days a year and have a coarse, sometimes prickly hair undercoat so my baby is the perfect candidate to test this product on. As instructed…I used on my freshly cleaned and fully dried pug. When you use this product either go outside or find a room that is easily swept because it works like a beast. I was very careful not to overcomb an area and to be gentle in sensitive areas like face, ears and private parts. I am absolutely thrilled with the amount of hair removed, he must feel so much more comfortable in the summer heat. Gentle strokes are efficient …no need to apply hard pressure; therefore, no pain. The handle is made of a soft, rubbery material that is comfortable to grip and textured for a secure hold. It is molded out of thick quality material…everything is smooth and tightly molded. My pup was hesitant at first but after a minute he was moving around showing me where to brush next…he even let me do the belly. I have attached some photos of the process also. The hair shown is after 5 passes on his back. I have to give the professional pet Deshedding Tool 5 stars for its quality and efficiency. My pug liked everything except the bath part. |The FURgenie – A Wish Granted,
The packaging for this tool was easy to get into but not flimsy. There are three blades for this tool for use on different sizes of animals, which is a fantastic feature for someone who has different sizes of pets. Additionally, the blades for this tool slide easily into place, and you know they are in place because there is a distinct snapping click. These blades are sharp enough to get beneath smaller mats, but they are not so sharp that you will cut the animals skin unless you use a lot of force.
I used this tool in a class for those who are visually and hearing impaired. A variety of people used this tool on a variety of different animals (dogs and cats of varying sizes, short-haired and long-haired rabbit breeds, a “guide pony”, and a few ferrets. This tool was dropped…a lot, but it never faltered, and the blades/teeth never chipped.
For those who were visually-impaired, this tool was particularly great for the following reasons:
1. The blade locks into place with a very audible click.
2. The handle features grooves that make it easy for the person to know how to hold the tool for those who have never used a tool like this before.
3. the variety of blades make it easy for more sensitive areas on a pet to be done wtihout fear of trying to manuever too large of a blade in a small space for an area where sight would be needed otherwise.
The FURgenie shedding tool was also fantastic in one unexpected way, the locking mechanism is beneath the head of the tool. At first, I did not think that this would make a difference one way or the other, but it most certainly did. The attendees who needed to use their fingers as a guide for pressure would position their fingers at the head of the tool while holding closer to the top of the handle. On other tools, this was a problem because this would mean that the locking mechanism would be touched and the blade would be dislodged from the tool and end up tangled in the pet’s hair, fur, wool, etc. With the FURgenie, this problem was nonexistent because the locking mechanism was on the underside of the head of the tool. For children, whether visually/hearing-impaired or not, this is a particularly good option because children tend to need to guide more with pet grooming tools than adults to.
Concerning seller communication, this seller was a pleasure to deal with. The seller was prompt with replies, courteous, eager to accept feedback, and the item was shipped very fast.

|This works wonders!,
It does a much better job than a regular job than a normal pet brush. It get’s off so much hair off BigFoot than the old brush. We are sweeping up less hair than we usually do and I am so thankful.
Let me say this, BigFoot is skittish. He is scared of a lot of things. I was really afraid that he would not let us use this at all. He gives no trouble at all. He sits perfectly still while she runs it thru his fur. He’s such a good boy! You should see the hair it gets off him! It’s magnificent.
I am so glad that we were able to try the Professional Pet Deshedding Tool, it’s been an awesome asset to our household! Try if if you have a dog that sheds a lot!
I was given this item at a reduced price for an honest review, but all opinions are 100% my own. Truly, this is a great product, try it!
