   I’ve got a couple of *ancient* cats. They’ve gotten to the point where they’re no longer able to groom themselves very well and I have to sometimes take over and figure out what to do with matting hair. I’ve got some good undercut brushes designed specifically for cutting out mats, but sometimes those don’t even work. I was hoping this would do the trick, but it really doesn’t. I can’t say that it’s the fault of the product, but more the fault of the idea that it would do anything. It doesn’t help that one is a scaredy cat and everything seems threatening. The fact that I was able to get the clipper close to her speaks volumes about the clipper’s silent and not jarring running volume.

   The clipper is nice, and seems powerful. Maybe I can use it as a beard groomer since it won’t really work for my animals. It seems to be able to run for a very long time without recharging, so I’d imagine you could get through clipping a reasonable sized dog before it ran out of power (and then you could plug it in and use it if necessary. I like that versatility).

   the one thing I don’t really like is how the clipper guards attach to the clipper. They’re secure once you get them on, but I find it hard to line up the little nubs to the holes, especially when I’m doing something else at the time (like herding freaked out animals).

   When I first received my Amazon package I was wondering what it was especially when I picked it up and it felt feather light I was like there is no way this is the dog clippers but took my surprise it was them!

   After opening I charged for about an hour or two and then put then to work. They cut very well for how long my dogs hair was. I was very impressed with how light they are and how slient they are. Did not scare my dog one bit after turning on. I didn’t realize till after the cut that the blade looks like ceramic. It cut very well.

   My only gripe is that there is no charge full indicator. The light just always stays orange, and that’s checking after a good 12 hr charge. Other than that one thing these are perfect and would recommend to everyone.

   These are advertising then as being professional, deluxe pet grooming clippers which is not true. They are very cheap small clippers that barely cut a little bit of fine hair around the dogs face. The blade area is fairly small so it would take forever to clip a whole dog with it. They are not that quiet either considering they are battery operated. It took like forever to arrive also as they came from china or somewhere. I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review… thank goodness I didn’t pay full price for these.
