   We rescued our kitty about 2 years ago, and while he has fully agreed with a life of luxury, food,snuggles, and belly rubs, the murdering just never stopped. Our Laundry room has turned into the “Killing Room” leaving us afraid every morning to see what was behind the door. Despite not one, but 2 huge bells on his collar, the tiny psychopath wasn’t stopping. After a particularly bad 24 hours that involved a:baby rabbit, blue jay,2 lizards, a mouse and a BAT! I searched for something else. So far with Birdsbesafe we are over 48 hours with no dead bodies in the house. Truly a miracle. And he looks like a ridiculous Jester kitty, so that is somewhat of a bonus. Good material, slid right over his collar, and I don’t think he even knows its on. While i suspect it wont completely stop the murderous workings of Mr. Boots, if it saves some lives I’m pretty darn happy. Thanks!

   Our cats are very good hunters, and catch a lot of birds. These collars work much better than bells, and are less annoying to the cats. They used to catch about one a week, and now catch maybe one or two a year. Seriously, these covers work wonders. They also look very cute in them.

   Buster’s collar worked wonders and saved many lives, May 22, 2015

   My wife witnessed a horrifyingly tragic incident between my cat, Buster, and a purple finch back in early April on the balcony of my condo. Buster loves to roam about the balconies and roofs here but we decided we could not let him out anymore. Then I came across this collar on the web. Ironically, I discovered later that my neighbor’s daughter has conducted scientific research validating that birds fly away from cats when they spot these brightly colored collars. Buster doesn’t seem to mind wearing the collar and knows he’s getting to go outside when we put it on. So now everyone’s happy. Buster can range widely (see photos) We are worry free. And the birds live to chirp another day.
