This is the nastiest looking cat food you will ever see. It looks like shark chum. It contains visible fish scales and bone fragments. It stinks to high heaven and will nauseate you with its blood red appearance. It is simply gross and disgusting.
HOWEVER
It is the only food my 12 year old domestic, female has ever finished the entire can. I discovered it by accident one day at a Walmart clearance rack. When I got home and opened one I turned my head at Madame Kitty and audibly laughed at her. I was being evil because I decided to put this awful gruel in her bowl just so she could entertain me with her horrific disgust and rejection.
Damn if she did not eat it like Wimpy on a Burger (on Tuesday)!
She polished off every morsel, which is hard to do because it basically just slops down in the bottom of the bowl. It has the consistency of tepid porridge so she had to get her face down there to get it all.
I was certain it was a fluke. The next few weeks I tested her to see if she was bluffing! Nope, she really eats this crap. I will say the THE ONLY thing she will eat with this passion is the FLAKED varieties. No pate, chunks, grilled, blah blah blah.
The flaked come in only a few flavors. Her favorite is the Tempt Me Tuna. If I were unable to find this variety pack I would get the 24 can case of the Tempt Me Tuna FLAKED.
My young lady has been a finicky thing for 12 years. Yet, in the past 45 days she has ONLY eaten these three flavors. She never tires of them. Every day is like a fresh, live moth (or other insect) for her to eat and get excited over. I am almost fully switched to feeding her canned only. Dry food is absolutely awful, awful, awful for cats but she has never eaten enough wet for me to make the change. This is the food that will finish the conversion.
Amazon’s price of $9.97 with Prime is a great price for the 18 cans. BE CAREFUL – if Amazon runs out the marketplace sellers charge $30 with shipping for this! Walmart always has them for $9.97 so if you can’t get it here or don’t have Prime, head over to Walmart. Use site to Store.

I had been feeding my cats canned friskies for years until I got a new kitten and he was very weak. My vet gave him prescription food to gain weight and once he was healthy enough to eat regular food again I didn’t feel comfortable giving him friskies anymore. I needed to find a high quality food that was affordable. I tried a few different kinds and the kitten snubbed them all. I decided to try these and also iams canned kitten food. I have 5 other adult cats. I was amazed by how much all the cats loved the iams. They licked their plates clean. The kitten ate the kitten food for a couple weeks until one day one of the other cats didn’t finish their delights and the kitten decided to try it. Now that’s the only canned food he’ll eat. I tried the iams delicacies and the kitten doesn’t care for that kind but my other cats like it better so I buy both. I was so impressed with the ingredients in iams that I switched their dry food to iams too. I had used the same purina food for 20 years! Since my cats have switched to all iams food their coats are much softer and shinier. Also their poop doesn’t smell as bad anymore. My cats only like the iams delights flaked and the delicacies and once I accidentally got the pate. I have a bunch of feral and stray cats that I feed. I didn’t switch their food though. That was out of my budget but since my cats wouldn’t eat the pate I put it outside for a few days and now they barely touch their regular brand. It goes to show that iams is a superior pet food. I wish I could give it to the strays too and if it came in bigger cans I probably would. I feel like a better pet parent since I switched to iams. I’ve been telling all my friends and family members that have pets to switch. The quality is amazing and the prices are fair. Ordering on Amazon is great because grocery stores don’t carry a big selection of iams. Even petco doesn’t stock every iams variety. Do your cats a favor and buy them iams. oh….. The delights don’t have much gravy. It’s shreds of real meat that looks very moist. If your cat loves to lick the gravy try iams purrfect delicacies.

I ordered this, which appears to be a case (12 cans) of cat food. I received 1(ONE) can of cat food. A can of food I can get for .99 at my local Target. I will be returning my 1 (ONE) can for a full refund.
