   This tree was worth every penny. My cats are on this all the time. They sleep on it and play on it. They took ownership right away.

   The three hammocks are the BEST. I’m glad there are three because quite frequently I see one in each hammock. So in the case of my cats, they prefer the hammocks to the inside compartments. However, I do see them sleeping inside the compartments once in a while. They more like to sneak inside when they are playing.

   As your putting this structure together (which wasn’t hard for a single female) I noticed you could modify the design if you wanted to. I kept the top two ladders off to give them more room to lay and play and it was definitely the right choice.

   I did initially put some catnip on the tree to get them use to it, but I don’t think I would have needed to. If I ever buy another structure I’ll have to be sure there are hammocks because that’s really a must for my cats enjoyment. They are really secure even after all their rough housing.

   My kitten and cats weigh from 5 to 15 pounds. The 15 pound cat can fit inside but it’s more tight for him. He prefers lurking from the top. He has laid in a hammock, but I’m not so sure it’s as comfortable for him. Also the way I put the tree together I kept the third ladder off to give my 15# cat plenty of room. So the structure does work for all my cats very well. I tucked it in the corner of my living room and twisted the hammocks and shelves where I wanted them so it would fit perfectly.

   I’ll post pictures, but if your looking for a good cat tree that won’t break your budget and is not overly monstrous then I’d recommend this one.

   Great and can easily be modified as needed. We were worried about the height because our ceilings are vaulted and we couldn’t use the bracer, but it’s easy to modify without even needing and tools or other peices

   This is the worst tree I have ever bought, it fell on my wifes head when my cat jumped on it because its design is defective, the part that connects to the ceiling is so poorly made that you can’t attach it securely to the ceiling, and in turn, the base is so thin that if it isn’t attached to the top, it just will fall and crash to the ground. It severely hurt my wife and when I contacted the seller to tell them that I would not keep the product, they told me that I would have to send them a picture of the defective part, when the defective part was their design. They were vile and accused me of trying to get an item for free, when I was just trying to get a return label, I even told them that I would try another design, but they were the worst and I beg anyone to try the many other manufacturers that make quality cat trees and that stand behind their products, but I have never had any experience like this from any seller on Amazon in the 12 years that I have been with them.
