   Laser pointer? Puh-lease! This thing is HORRIBLE!!! It’s not the tiny red dot my cats love to chase, it’s a HUGE red paw print my cats couldn’t care less about. The paw is seriously bigger than my cats when I shine it on the wall from the couch. And it’s completely invisible on our black rug! It was a total waste of money and too cheap to bother returning. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!

   I have one cat that loves these laser pointers. I lost my other one so decided to buy her a new one. I clicked it, and she came running. Problem is she was looking for the red laser beam on the floor. Now if you do if close to the floor, you will see a red paw, but the further away, the paw gets bigger and it is not anything that my cat will chase. For the price of this I am extremely disappointed, as is my cat. She keeps waiting for the clik again so she can chase the laser, but there is nothing to chase. For $10.00 it was also cheaply made. It could have had interchangeable parts for that price to give you something the cat will chase. I don’t usually give bad reviews, but I think this was the worst. The back that held the batteries did not even screw in. It was a cheap metal. Everything about this was cheap.

   This review has been edited below. This is such a sweet idea, it is advertised as being a safe LED light and “point and play,” but the product is poorly made. The one we received had chipped plastic paint, and the LED didn’t work at all. It is cheap plastic, and there is no way to replace the battery or fix it in any way. I bought it for my son, and we are both super disappointed.

   EDITED INFORMATION: The seller received our information about the broken LED pointer, and sent 2 as a replacement. She was understanding of our disappointment and wanted to make it right. The replacements worked right out of the package, and still do a couple of days later. The product is seriously cute, and has delighted my son. We love that the light is LED safe for kids and pets, and that the light’s footprint is the little shape on the side of the pointer. There is a mouse on one, a fish on another, and on the first one we ordered a paw print. The light definitely works better in a darkened room, but that is ok with us.

   I was incorrect in my initial review that the battery can not be replaced – It CAN be replaced. However, the little flashlight is quite cheaply made, and I am not sure that I would bother with battery replacement. Also, even though the replacements work (and are delightful) each moment with this product feels like borrowed time. Time will tell if they can become the super surprising little light that could.
