   This is the only food my cats will eat. I was rather disappointed when I opened the box the cat food was in as there are thousands of dead worms (looked like small meal worms you would find in an old bag of flour). They are stuck to the sticker tag on the bottom of each cat food container, stuck to the box, stuck everywhere!!! Its really disgusting and is going to be a big freaking mess when I do go to remove the containers from the box. I am going to have to take each individual container and wash it in bleach water before I can even put them in the cupboard and that still really grosses me out!!

   Meow Mix is admittedly toward the higher end of price range for cat foods, but six out of six cats surveyed in my household love this mix. (They are not fond, however, of the seafood mix of Meow Mix.) I would, however, offer two cautions. The first is to watch the prices closely. They seem to fluctuate a fair amount on Amazon.com for this cat food. The second is not to put out too much. My cats will finish a small amount quickly and then want more, but putting out more tends to lead to uneaten leftovers.

   My favorite part of this cat food (other than the fact that my cat loves it) is the packaging. It doesn’t come in metal cans, but in a plastic container with a thin plastic lid. Our cat does not eat a full 5oz can per day, so we can actually give him half these containers 2x per day and it is the perfect amount for him. It is also easier to store the second half during the day because of the packaging. He has been eating this variety for over a year now and still loves it every day!
