I used the treatment for cats and kittens on my cat and was alarmed when he became extremely restless, agitated, and began foaming at the mouth. He then calmed down but became despondent. Since it was the middle of the night I called the 24 hour Pet Poison hotline and was told that the agitation was likely a result of skin irritation from the treatment and the foaming was probably caused by a reaction to the smell or a slight taste of the product. Any product with this reaction should come with a clear warning label. I am not impressed.

I have always used Revolution for my cat and Vectra 3D for my dogs. When my vet started offering the Vectra for cats I jumped at buying it because the dog version has worked so well for my dogs. Unfortunately my cats skin burned badly and the hair fell out around the site. I am horrified and plan on calling the company to get a refund for my 12 months supply I bought.

I recently bought Vectra for cats at my vet’s office. I had been using Frontline for years and it just didn’t work anymore. My cats had a huge amount of fleas. I initially gave them a capstar and then followed up with the Vectra. It’s been 2 weeks now and no fleas. Thanks, Vectra. I would recommend this product.
