The reaction of two of my Ragdoll cats when I first got the toy out. They’re both 7 years old, so it is a toy that interests middle aged cats. The video is a bit shaky as I am playing and recording simultaneously.

Really delighted with this one. Though I don’t buy many cat toys, this game is extremely well built and appeals to a cat’s instinct to hunt for hiding prey. The box is made of very sturdy press-board (wood) and the fabric is a rugged synthetic. The mouse is attached in such a way that it won’t come off. Really refreshing to see something built CORRECTLY these days. Use the stick to pop the mouse up in various areas and your cat will grab or bite at it. My Sphynx (hairless) is disabled so running after toys is physically taxing for her. This is the perfect solution as she can sit comfortably and play on the couch. Would be ideal for any older or disabled cat that needs mental and physical stimulation, but can’t run after a lazer or feather stick. Though my cat won’t bother with a normal stuffed mouse toy, the hiding action and movement of this toy drives her crazy. The box will last forever but, as mentioned before, it looks possible that if this is left with a bored cat that likes to chew, they might go after the fabric. However, they look like they’d be easy to replace for anyone with even the slightest DIY inkling.
Highly recommended for all cats to keep their bodies and minds exercised and healthy.

My 14 yr old cat likes this toy, but without the mouse on a stick. She seemed to find it frustrating that she could catch the mouse, but not pull it out and do a victory dance. So, I just stuff it with pom-poms and catnip mice. She’ll fish one out, play with it for a while and then go fishing for another one. (I put the open hole against the wall. Sometimes she cheats and pulls the box away from the wall, but still seems to enjoy it.)
