   This mouse did not turn on during arrival. It turned out the contacts to the battery needed adjusted so it could touch the battery. So if your mouse stopped working one day, check the battery contacts.

   My cat is 8 years old. He’s not as active. When he was a kitten he would chase anything that moves. I would say he’s a wiser hunter now.
   This is such a great toy for my cat because he chases a prey when it stops moving. Otherwise he would stalk it. So the stop and move “chase” mode and the touch and move “paw play” mode works wonderfully. There’s is another cat toy hexbug with a fluffy tail that would keep on moving until its switched off. My cat would never chase that. But that’s just how my cat hunts.

   It has one button – press to turn it on for chase mode or off or hold to switch to paw play mode. When it doesn’t move during the paw play mode it doesn’t drain the battery.

   This is a cute toy and our kitten enjoys playing with it. She bats it and is surprised when it moves away. However, it goes through 2 button batteries about every 30 minutes. The ones that came with the toy lasted such a short time we thought the toy was broken. We bought more batteries, but each pair is only good for one play session. Otherwise, the toy is well made. But constantly replacing the batteries is time consuming (involves a screw driver) and makes the toy a poor value.

   I have 4 cats and they love this toy! Keeps my cats entertained and they don’t fight with each other. Works best on hard surface floors. Highly recommend. Have had for 2 weeks now and it works great.
