   My cats have an old raggedy catnip fish exactly like this one that’s their favorite toy, but as I said, it’s quite old, and the catnip has lost some of its “oomph.” Still, when the cat toys get cleaned up and put back in the cat toy box, Fishy is the first thing they pull out.

   I got their old Fishy at PetSmart, and have been looking for a new one each time I go back, to no avail. I finally thought to look on Amazon, and lo and behold… there was Fishy Jr., big as life and twice as ugly!!!

   Needless to say, I immediately placed an order for Fishy Jr. (and also for two of their second favorite toys, the catnip filled bananas, made by the same company). It was a glorious day when Fishy Jr. and the second Bananas arrived!! (If anyone wants to call their band Fishy Jr. and the Second Bananas, please be my guest.) The cats had an excellent new cat toy party, then they conked out and took naps with Fishy Jr. and the Second Bananas. A fine time was had by all.

   I bought this for a little 10 week old kitten that showed up on my porch and we took her in…she rarely engaged this toy, and when she did start playing with it, it had a hole and leaked stuff all over my couch. My dogs were more interested in it than she was…

   Buyer Beware – Catnip Everywhere!, June 19, 2014

   While my cats went crazy when I gave them this toy, they easily chewed through the belly & now there is a catnip mess all over my carpet. I bought the Banana catnip toy a year ago & that one has held up without tearing. I would not buy this toy again.
