   A wonderful grooming comb

   This comb is amazing! It has great quality and is very durable!
   I bought this comb for use in grooming my Maltese. The groomer I use suggested that I comb her at home since she doesn’t like it. I’ve been gently using this comb on her regularly and she is definitely seeing it as being ok now instead of dreading being combed. It works well to detangle as long as you take it slow and using water on it helps too. I like the weight of it and use both sides for different areas.They actually fall sleep now, when I comb their hair. It is that gentle if you do it with patience, of course. No more difficult tangles!! I really recommend this item! Thank you!!!

   This is a well made product and is what was pictured and described. The only issue I had with it, and why I gave it only 4 stars, is that it’s much too large for a cat comb. It’s not that I can’t comb my cats with it, it’s just that the teeth are too far apart to be good for any cat except perhaps a persian. Both of my cats have very long and full fur but this comb does little to get through any of the kinks. If the teeth were closer together like previous cat combs I’ve used then this would be worth the investment. If you’re a cat owner I would recommend selecting a smaller toothed comb. If you own a large, long haired dog then this comb will probably be great for you!

   The comb is made of durable metal and seems solidly constructed so I have little doubt of it’s longevity. I would recommend the comb to any friends who have long haired dogs, although I don’t currently have any. I don’t feel I would include this in any sort of a dog gift basket as the likelihood of someone being able to use it for an average dog are pretty remote.

   I have received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review. I am rating this product as if I paid full price and have not lowered my expectations.
   The comb meets my expectations. It is composed of stainless steel metal, a bit weighted, and has large diameter comb teeth that are slightly longer than an inch. Overall the comb length is about 7 inches.
   The comb is great for consistent pet brushing, however if there are mats or tangle this is not the best comb as the teeth do not get too fine. That said the larger diameter comb teeth are very nice. Our dog enjoys the comb against her skin. We also use this comb by pairing it with the pet buzzers or clippers. The comb is a great adhoc guard for the clippers. In one hand we use the comb to fluffy out the dogs hair, while the clippers come right behind it to cut the hair evenly.
   The comb is also useful to part the dog’s hair or fur to look at or monitor skin conditions such as dryness or possible fleas. I would recommend this comb to other pet owners who DIY pet haircuts with clippers.

   So you are looking for a deshedding tool? Our dog isn’t a huge fan of being brushed or groomed but this deshedder did a great job of getting his undercoat out and we now have a totally different looking and feeling dog. It was gentle enough that our dog didn’t mind it and really is a great product. You should buy it.

   The grooming tool works wonders on both our cat and dog!!! The cat, who hates most things, doesn’t mind us grooming her using this!
   The Pup loves being groomed, and the tool works wonders! I would highly recommend this tool, do not shy away from any bad reviews because this thing is amazing. It’s a good size and picks up a lot of extra hairs. Just buy it!

   I am really impressed with this deshedding brush. We have a short haired tabby and it doesn’t seem like she sheds that much until you vacuum or wear something black that picks up cat hair. It really is everywhere. With twins on the way, we want to make sure the house is as clean as possible and that includes keeping up with her shedding. The traditional brush we have does a decent job of removing the loose hair, but she doesn’t like it much and it seems like just hours later there is still hair all over the place.
   I wasn’t sure what to expect from this deshedder and didn’t have high hopes that it would make a difference. I must say, I am really impressed. Our cat seems to really love it. She stayed still while I was using it and afterwards gave me a leg rub. And boy did it get a lot of hair. In the short period of time we’ve been using the deshedder, we have noticed that there is less cat hair on the chair and couch. The added perk is that the cat seems to really enjoy being brushed. If you are looking for some relief from shedding that your pets will enjoy, I suggest trying this grooming tool.
