   Out of five dogs, four of ours need regular grooming, so when I saw what was advertised as a trimmer, I was floored! Looking at it, I thought it would be like the “Suck Cut” from Wayne’s World. “Cut hair and vacuum it up at the same time? Sign us up!” Well, it didn’t work for Garth on the movie, so why did I think it would work for my poodle and Yorkies?

   It’s lightweight, battery operated, and has a rotating massaging head. Although it’s heavily advertised as a clipper/trimmer, it basically just vacuums up pet hair and limits shedding. Our dach/min pin has short sleek hair, so it worked on his coat. He was left a little fuzzy looking, but I attribute that to the spinning massaging head which he very much enjoyed. He loooooves when we massage or full body scratch him, but I don’t care for all of the loose hair that comes from it, so in that respect, this is perfect for him. His hair gets sucked into the plastic chamber and not all over the place which is perfect for me. If you’re in the market for a shed vac, then this should meet your needs, but if you were hoping for a “Suck Cut,” then this isn’t it.

   Hmmmmm…. good idea, but not too impressed with the working of this. My one cat was ok with me trying this out on her…but… nothing came off her. I did previously brush her…but she is forever shedding and I got no further hair off of her using this. My other cat ran for the hills when I tried to use this on him. I’m going to keep trying on him as I think he might like the feeling of it…even if it doesn’t get fur off of him. I can’t give this zero stars as it does work as stated..but just not for my cats. It spins..it sucks…it’s not super quiet, but quiet enough. I did receive this product at a discount from retail to try it out and review. […]

   great nifty devices works great but the cartage to capture the hair is small but that’s fine. my dog sheds a lot and sometimes i just gotta brush him more than once a dog and then i gotta pick up the hair. with this device is helps out a lot more and very convenient. i got the clippers at a discounted price and in exchange for my honest review and i love it
